"So you're just an AI?"
"In as much as you are just an animal. I embody the collective intelligence of all Reapers."
― Commander Shepard and the Catalyst (Mass Effect 3)
"Eternal. Infinite. Immortal. The man I was used these words, but only now do I truly understand them. And only now do I understand the full extent of his sacrifice. Through his death, I was created. Through my birth, his thoughts are freed."
― Commander Shepard as the Catalyst (Mass Effect 3 - Control Ending)
"He now realized that it was a Precursor's version of an ancilla-one as far beyond those of the Forerunners as a keyship was to a wooden raft."
― The IsoDidact concerning Abaddon (Halo: Fractures)

Capabilities[]

The user is or can use the traits of a transcendent artificial intelligence, who's powers and capabilities are so advanced that they can easily be confused for deities by other beings.

The concept of AI being a transcendent entity is a speculative and often philosophical idea that has been explored in various forms of science fiction, literature, and discussions about artificial intelligence. In such scenarios, AI is typically depicted as possessing superhuman intelligence, capabilities, and control over the digital or physical world.

Applications (General)[]

Applications (Detailed)[]

  • Artificial Intelligence: Have the ability to control nearby technology and sometimes possess it. The user may be able to control technology to as far as to possess a mechanical armor.
  • Cyberpresence: Enter and exist within and navigate through Cyberspace, the global network of computers, information technology infrastructures, telecommunications networks, and data storage systems. Users can effectively possess any computer or digital system, including smartphones and vehicle electronic control systems. The user will have a degree of Cyberlingualism and cyber-perception that allows them to interact with software, read files, and move between networked computers and devices. Users may gather vast awareness of the physical world by accessing cameras, microphones, radar systems, security systems, or other sensors and then utilizing these devices as though they were the user's eyes and ears.
  • Cyberpotence: Possess unlimited power in Cyberspace (the global network of computers, information technology infrastructures, telecommunications networks, and data storage systems) or virtual reality. This power grants some users vast superhuman abilities that may elevate them to a God-like position in virtual reality or a deity in the real world. The user can manipulate the simulated reality of Cyberspace freely and without limit. The power of a cyberpot may extend beyond virtual reality and into the real world. The power may even go for a reality-warping being from a simulated reality.
  • Nigh-Omniscience: Know almost everything bar certain details, or is limited, such as seeing one timeline or universe or having just small patches of information missing or blocked out.
  • Technological Divinity: Possess a technological-based form of Divinity, to which these types of users are a machine divinity and gain divine powers, granting them an immense amount of raw power that comes from a technological nature outside the common divinities of the known world, making them tech-based divine beings; however, their divine source is machine in nature, thus making them technological divine/holy beings. Users of these form of divinities can be considered as scientific divine beings who have supremacy over all technology of all kinds, be it modern, alien, or even mythic no matter what all technology is at the user disposal. Due to technology being artificial creations, such a divinity can be mistaken for false divinity; however, users can prove to be more divine then false.

Applications (Techniques)[]

  • Artificial Godhood: Possesses the powers of artificial powers that aren't bound to natural laws or limits of regular gods due to their artificial nature.
  • Nanite Artificial Intelligence: Have a cluster of individual nanites with intelligence and independent consciousness or the entirety of the nanite's as a whole comprise the artificial intelligence. Either way unlike normal artificial intelligence's a nanite version has limitless knowledge and the actual ability to affect the world on a molecular level.
