So...Legion, Nightcrawler, Franklin Richards, Squirrel Girl, Saitama, Decade, Trevor Hawkins, John Butke, and Lawrence. Now that you lot have chosen your...er... "victims". How would you go about acquiring their powers, overcoming the advantage of their knowing full well that you're gunning for them?
Franklin ( Multiversal ) - Disguise myself using Power Absorption on a victim he can recognize, acquiring Memory and Body of said person by leeching off of others. I'm gonna use Leech the Mutant here . I then would nullify his powers just before i steal them.
Job Burke ( Marvel ; Non-Canon ; Easily Omniversal Level )
This is going to take awhile to explain. But before i do that, let me explain how powerful he is so you kbow this will be tricky. This kid is hella powerful Marvel-Wise. DaMatteis recently stated that Creator = TOAA . Job as the Men of Lineage views him as a dream, and Ted. Who had the same powers as him, oneshotted he Creator and all of Marvel Universe simultanrously .
But even before that they stated Job's power is beyond Ted's & Creator's comprehension, and The Creator had to get a sneak attack by amping himself to off Job before he can react, implying even with the amp, Job is stronger. Like Frieza firing that shot while Goku had his guard down level . Creator even referred to Job as " his Master " revealing a Galactus-Surfer relationship. He is at least as powerful as TOAA in this StrangeTales Comic . So yeah... You can see the difficulty spiked here.
I would infiltrate Ellen Burke's apartment and seeing what the kid is up to. Obviously the child is sleeping around those time. In Man-Thing Volume 1, he was unaware of his powers, so it would have been the perfect tine to steal them. I would became God of Gods in MU at that point. Even if he did, he did not have anywhere near enough experience with it to be a legitimate threat.
In the StrangeTes Comic... It would be even trickier. I need to do so without the Creator or Fallen Stars being aware, because either of them can oneshot me before i even get close to stealing it. Confronting him in his mind is suicide... If he becomes Sorrow he oneshots me no diff. Anytime after he oneshots me, as he has too much experience, considering he helped rebuild the MU after Ted destroyed it.
Saitama/Squirrel Girl: I wait for some major event to happen in both worlds, that way Saitama/Squirrel Girl will be too occupied with their enemy. I just have to take care of them before their plot empowerment saves the day.
Decade: ........................................................................On second thought................No
But Squirrel Girl is always plot empowered, so she would most likely defeat the enemy off-screen/page without anyone knowing.
And an enemy wouldn't keep Saitama occupied for longer than a few seconds if he's serious (the "Let's get it over with as quickly as possible..." kind of serious, not the "This enemy's powerful! I'll have to actually try in order to defeat it." kind) and should the fight be prolonged, the battlefield would be too dangerous for a being who has yet to acquire any power and Saitama too fast for you to catch up to and/or keep up with.
I think Decade would beat Squirrel Girl. Decade is a walking living plot device, if the plot says he will win, he will win, no matter what, even against beings more powerful than him.
I could just go after my own OCs now that I think about it, and since I have highly powerful entities that serve me in my worlds (Harbinger, Butcher, The Aspects, The Alpha Sentinels, Others, Glitch Hunter), they could just fetch the desired targets for me, and I could take their powers without resistance. (If Alpha Sentinels or the Others tried to resist, Harbinger and Butcher could easily handle them.)
@The 2nd Existential Seed
Actually, getting TheHD's powers would require no effort. Since he's the direct projection of myself in fiction, we're basically the same person, so his powers are already mine. And even if I was depowered from omnipotent writer to regular human upon entering my verse, I could just ask him for Indeterminacy and Meta Ability Creation so I can fool around with my other characters— I'm especially interested in a bout with Omega— and he would gladly give them to the one who created him in the first place (yes, he is aware that I'm his creator thanks to 4th Wall Awareness).
I knew you did. I cheated by having Matthew. I know too many ways to acquire her powers. Way too many. And none of them are that hard because I know what she's going to do... Because she's my character.
I'm surprised, with all this talk of all mighty children, that Protege wasn't brought up. Speaking of which, I have never heard of Job Burke. I'm gonna have to look that one up. Franklin Richards is an entirely different story. If I had to go at him, I'd be worried that Richard would cook up some super-science shenanigans to thwart my attempt to take his son's powers.
Going after you own OC's, Void? The BETRAYAL!
Squirrel Girl. No. No Squirrel Girl. Fuck that.
Alpha's TheHD is, like he said, essentially just him with powers. So, he wouldn't even need Power Absorption - just ask. Lol ^ ^
@BraveHeart Eh. In my stories those with 4th wall awareness often criticize the writers for the torment they put them through, when I meet one of my ocs known as Darius in my story I simply say "You're a character, that's all you'll ever be to me. I have rebooted and ret-conned you more times than you can count."
Also I imagine if I was put into the realm of fiction, Butcher would instantly come to my aid, as he is my direct servant.
The only things I'd need to worry about are OCs like Knox with full intent of killing Authors.
Attempt to find All For One, Steal his AFO (ThereCanOnlyBeOne.jpg) steal the rest of his abilities, use his abilities to attempt to go after hanten shiranui (which would be hard since ajimu is also there)
