- Omnipresence (Exists in all places)
- Primordial Water Generation (Water came at the beginning of all things)
- Supreme Deity (Water had been created earlier than Earth. Therefore, she was believed to be the elder sister of Earth. The beginning of the Earth emanated from Water. In ancient Turkic beliefs, Tengri (God) Kaira Khan is a pure, white goose that flies constantly over an endless expanse of water (time). But before Ak-Ana appears to urge Kaira Khan to create, he experiences a disturbance of his calm. From the bottom of the Water a "sacred duck" Lura lifted the sand, clay and silt, from which the Earth was created. Water was the initial state of everything in existence. Water evenly gave rise to both foreign and hostile elements)
- Divine Spirit Physiology (It was the possessor of spirits and the entrance into the other realm. The life, fertility and productivity of land depended on the Ak Ana)
- Supreme Divinity (According to old Turkish beliefs)
- Fate Embodiment (Ruler of fate)
- Fertility Inducement (Can cause fertility)

Erlik - The god of death
- Underworld Lordship (The god of the underworld)
- Supernatural Disease Manipulation, Meta Death-Force Manipulation and Soul Removal (Er (or yer) means Earth, in the depths of which Erlik lives in. From the underworld, Erlik brings forth death, plague and evil spirits to torment humans and take their souls into his realm)
- Sin Empowerment, Creation, Archetype:Darkness Deity, Archetype:Judge of the Dead, Gold Mimicry and Reality Dreaming (In the Turkic mythology, Erlik was involved in the creation of humanity. He slew the messenger-god, Maidere/Maydere, and is a teacher of sin. He is sometimes represented by a totemic bear. In Turkic mythology, Erlik was the deity of evil, darkness, lord of the lower world and judge of the dead. Erlik is a brother of Ülgen, they both have been created from Kayra (Tengere Kayra Khan). He wants to be equal to Ulgen, he make his own land and was sent to the prison at the 9th layer of the earth and became opposed to the upper world, the realm of light. According to the Khakas, Erlik resides in the deepest underworld in a palace of copper with furniture made of gold)
- Creation, Spiritual Force Manipulation and Divinity (According to an Altai legend, Erlik created the spirits (İye) while he was still in heaven. Erlik and his spirits were cast out and fell to earth together when he claimed divinity for himself. Another legend of the Altai people recorded states, God (Tengri) endowed Erlik with a hammer and an anvil, but took his power away when Erlik was creating evil with it)
- Primordial Element Generation (According to another legend, recorded by Vasily Radlov, God ordered the first human to dive into the primordial water and remove a handful of soil from the bottom of the sea. The first human, however, desired to hide some soil in order to create his own world later. But the soil in his mouth grew and he spit it out. Kayra, who designs the world in this legend, cast the first human away from the heavenly realm as means of punishment and thus named him Erlik)
- Negation of Absolute Immortality and control of Absolute Death Inducement (In yet another narrative, people have been immortal before the advent of Erlik. People and animals overpopulated the world, until a crow suggested to summon Death into the world. So people summoned Erlik, whereupon death enters. First, all people knew when they would die, and so they lived in fear, until Tengri hide their date of death)
- Supernatural Disease Manipulation, Misfortune Redirection, Death Inducement, Sickness Aura, Omnipoison, World Creation and World Manipulation (The evil spirits created by Erlik cause misfortune, sickness and death to mankind. These spirits are imagined as Erlik's assistants. Besides these, his nine sons and daughters help their father in the way of evil. Erlik's daughters especially try to change a shaman's mind while he is attempting to reach Ulgen with their beauties. Erlik gives all kinds of sickness and wants sacrifices from the people. If they do not sacrifice to him, he catches the dead bodies of the people that he killed and takes them away to this lower world and then makes them his slaves. So, especially in the Altays, when sickness appears, people become scared of Erlik and make many animal sacrifices to him)
- Prayer Empowerment and Absolute Freezing and Primordial Ice Generation (Presumably for mammals. In the prayers of shamans, Erlik is described as a monster, having the face and teeth of a pig combined with a human body. Besides his face, he is an old man with a well-built body, black eyes, eyebrows and mustache. According to the Dolgans, Erlik took Mammoths down to the underworld. Whenever they try to get back to the surface, they freeze to death as punishment)
- Disease Immunity, Ghost Physiology (Erlik was worshipped in some traditional religions in Siberia and Central Asia, such as by Buryats. As Erlik is seen as the ruler of demons and the underworld, sacrifices are made for him to get rid of diseases or for the sake of people, who will enter the underworld after death. Alternatively people sacrifice to Erlik in order to get a higher rank in his underworld. Shamans who venerate Erlik are called Black Shamans (kara kam). Their practise is usually frowned upon, since they negotiate with demonic spirits. Erlik cannot claim every soul but only the evil ones. When a person dies, Erlik sends a kormos (some sort of ghost) in order to take the soul, simultaneously, heaven sends a spirit to carry the soul to heaven)
- Absolute Command and Meta Jinx (According to Verbitski, Turkic sources report that God once said to Erlik:
"Now, you have been a sinful. You thought evil against me. Even the people who believe you will think badness. The people who obey me will be clean and pure. They will see the sun. Hereafter, your name will be Erlik, the people who hide their sins from me will be your public; the people who hide their sins from you will be my public" (Verbitski 1903: 102-103; İnan 1972: 19-21)) Erlik's nine sons have the following abilities:
- Primordial Darkness Generation (Karash Han, the god of darkness)
- Courage Embodiment (Matyr Han, the god of bravery and courage)
- Primordial Chaos Manipulation (Shyngay Han, the god of chaos)
- Archetype:Evil Deity (Komur Han: The god of evil)
- Disaster Manipulation (Badysh Han: The god of disaster)
- Defeat Inducement and Victory Inducement (Yabash Han: The god of defeat)
- Iron Constructs (Temir Han: The god of iron and mining)
- Information Transferal (Uchar Han: The god of informants)
- Discord Inducement (Kerey Han: The god of discord)
- Archetype:Monotheistic Deity, Archetype:Supreme Deity and Gender Transcendence (Kayra or Kaira (Old Turkic: 𐰴𐰖𐰺𐰀) is the creator god in Turkic mythology. He is the god who planted the tree of life called Ulukayın. Kayra is described as both father and mother, and resides in the 17th layer of heaven. He is the supreme god of the pantheon and the son of sky deity named Tengri.[citation needed] This son, Kara Han (the black king or ruler of the land – Kara may mean land, earth, black or in a sense strong, powerful), left his father's home)
- Archetype:Heaven Deity (Went to live in the underworld after exiting from heaven. On occasion, identified as Kara-Khan (black king), he was the primordial god and his father was the ancordial god called Tengri)
- Archetype:Ruler of Mankind (The name of this deity is found in several forms, as is that of his opponent. "Kayra-Khan" may be translated as "merciful king", while the form "Kara Han" signifies "black king". For this reason, authority on Turkic Mythology Deniz Karakurt, considers Kara-Han and Kayra-Han to be two different deities. Furthermore, the Turkish word kara can mean both black and land, with the result that Kara Han can mean not only 'Black (Dark) Ruler' but also 'Ruler of the Land')
- Possible Meta Time Manipulation (In ancient Turkic belief known as Altai myth of creation, Tangri (God) Kara Han is neither male nor female nor even human in form, but a pure-white goose that flies constantly over an endless expanse of water (time), the benign creator of all that is, including the other, lesser gods. Among all Altai people the dualistic division is most clear (Ulgen and Erlik), and the highest god, Tengre Kaira Khan, is a good power. But before Ak Ana appears to urge it to create, Kara-han becomes anxious, creation occurring in a context of loneliness, turmoil and fear: the water becomes turbulent, but it reassures itself that it "need not fear" (the implication of such self-reassurance being that it is indeed afraid)).
- Meta Fate Manipulation, Creation, Meta Nature Manipulation, Animal Manipulation and Knowledge Manipulation (Supreme being in the universe it created, Kara-han is the ruler of the three realms of air, water and land, seated on the seventeenth level of the universe, from which it determines the fate of its creation. After creating the universe it planted the nine-boughed tree of life, from the branches of which came the ancestors of humans. Thus emerged the nine races (nine clans). It has three sons: Ulgan, Mergen and Kyzaghan.
- Alcohol Manipulation A Tuvinian / Soyoth legend, told as follows: The giant turtle which supported the earth moved, which caused the cosmic ocean to begin flooding the earth. An old man who had guessed something like this would happen, built a raft. Boarded it with his family, and he was saved. When the waters receded, the raft was left on a high wooded mountain, where, it is said, it remains today. After the flood Kaira-Khan created everything around the world. Among other things, he taught people how to make Araq (some kind of liquor)).
- Earth Manipulation (Goddess of the earth)
- Nature Manipulation
- Meta Time Manipulation
- Time Acceleration (Controls the flow of time)
- Time Manipulation
- Archetype:Supreme Deity and Archetype:Creator Deity (Ku'urkil is the Chukchi creator-deity, roughly analogous to Bai-Ulgan of the Turkic pantheon. The Koryak refer to him as Quikinna'qu ("Big Raven") and in Kamchadal mythology he is called Kutkhu)).
- Archetype:Creator Deity and Archetype:Supreme Deity (Kutka, also styled as Kutga or Kutku, is a creation deity of the Itelmens of Kamchatka. Some sources indicate he was a supreme deity but others see him being subsidiary to Dusdaechschitsh, a uniquely supreme being. His wife, Chachy, is smarter than him. His son is Haetsch)
- Archetype:Animal Deity and Ancestral Evocation (Kutkh appears in many legends: as a key figure in creation, as a fertile ancestor of mankind, as a mighty shaman and as a trickster. He is a popular subject of the animist stories of the Chukchi people and plays a central role in the mythology of the Koryaks and Itelmens of Kamchatka)
- Archetype:Creator Deity or Archetype:Causa Sui or Reality Warping or even an odd form of Omni-Element Manipulation (In some tales he is explicitly created by a Creator and lets the dawn onto the earth by chipping away at the stones surrounding her. In others he creates himself (sometimes out of an old fur coat) and takes pride in his independence from the Creator. In some, Kamchatka is created as he drops a feather while flying over the earth. In others, islands and continents are created by his defecation, rivers and lakes out of his waters. The difficult volcanic terrain and swift rivers of Kamchatka are thought to reflect Kutkh's capricious and willful nature)
- Light Manipulation and Sun Blocking and Moon Blocking along with Solar Empowerment and Lunar Empowerment (The bringing of light in the form of the sun and the moon is a common theme. Sometimes, he tricks an evil spirit which has captured the celestial bodies much in the style of analogous legends about the Tlingit and Haida in the Pacific Northwest. In others, it is he who must be tricked into releasing the sun and the moon from his bill)
- Totemism, Shapeshifting and Creation (In the animistic tradition of north-Eurasian peoples, Kutkh has a variety of interactions and altercations with Wolf, Fox, Bear, Wolverine, Mouse, Owl, Dog, Seal, Walrus and a host of other spirits. Many of these interactions involve some sort of trickery in which Kutkh comes out on top about as often as he is made a fool of. An example of these contradictions is given to the Chukchi legend of Kutkh and the Mice. The great and mighty raven Kutkh was flying through the cosmos. Tired from constant flight, he regurgitated the Earth from his gut, transformed into an old man, and alighted on the empty land to rest. Out of his first footsteps emerged the first Mice. Curious, playful and fearless, they entered the sleeping Kutkh's nose. The fury of the subsequent sneeze buckled the earth and created the mountains and the valleys. Attempts to stamp them out led to the formation of the ocean. Further harassments led to a great battle between the forces of snow and fire which created the seasons. Thus, the variable world recognizable to people emerged from the dynamic interaction between the mighty Kutkh and the small but numerous Mice)
- Light Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Literary Manipulation, Water Manipulation (Although Kutkh is supposed to have given mankind variously light, fire, language, fresh water and skills such as net-weaving and copulation, he is also often portrayed as a laughing-stock, hungry, thieving and selfish. In its contradictions, his character is similar that of other trickster gods, such as Coyote)
- Rain Generation, Rain Dance, Rain Crush, Mountain Creation and Elemental Generation (They pay no homage to him and never ask any favor of him; they speak of him only in derision. They tell such indecent stories about him that I would be embarrassed to repeat them. They upbraid him for having made too many mountains, precipices, reefs, sand banks and swift rivers, for causing rainstorms and tempests which frequently inconvenience them. In winter when they climb up or down the mountains, they heap abuses on him and curse him with imprecations. They behave the same way when they are in other difficult or dangerous situations)
As Ülgen - A Turkic creator-deity, he would have the following powers:
- Eternal Existence (Ülgen is believed to be without either beginning or end)
- Universal Manipulation (In Tengrism, the birch tree, regarded as a cosmic axis between earth and sky, was regarded as sacred to him, as was the horse (horse-sacrifice was a part of his worship). Ülgen symbolizes goodness, welfare, abundance, plentiness of food, water, etc))
- Big Creation Manipulation (Furthermore, he created earth, heaven and all living beings. In addition, he controls the atmospheric events and movements of stars. He creates land for people to live on, the heads of both humans and animals and the rainbow. He was regarded as the patron god of shamans and the source of their knowledge)
- Supreme Divinity (It is believed that Ülgen has been created from Kayra (Tengere Kayra Khan). He is the highest deity after Tengri in the pantheon. Often, Ülgen is compared with Tengri and at times they are thought to be on par, or even the same. In some sayings, the name/function of Ülgen may be (partially) interchangeable with that of Tengri)
- Omni-Protection (Ülgen is described as the enemy of Erlik who is the god of evil and darkness. Ülgen assumes the protectorship of humankind against him)
- Unreachability, Infinity Manipulation, Omnilock and Zenith Form (Bai-Ülgen lives on the sixteenth floor of the sky above the stars, sun and moon in a golden house. Mere humans may never reach him, only shamans and kams who possess astral powers can. Animals are used for sacrifice in worship of him, especially horses. Once in every third, sixth, ninth, or twelfth year, a shaman may sacrifice a white horse as the first step of reaching Ülgen. Then he must ride its soul, penetrate through all the layers of heaven until he reaches Ülgen. Firstly, the kam (shaman) meets Yayık who is the servant of Ülgen. This entity informs the kam whether or not the offering has been accepted. If the sacrificial rite has been successful, the shaman is able to learn from the omniscient Ülgen of impending dangers, such as bad harvests)
- Prosperity, Purity, Nature, Animal, Confidence and Blessing Inducement (His seven sons)
- Shapeshifting, Vampiric Combat, Soul Absorption and Misfortune Redirection (Mu shuvuu (harmful bird) is a mythological bird in Turkic mythology and Tengrism. They would look like young girls but have a sharp beak, which they try to cover either in a veil or with their hands. With their beaks, they would try to suck out the blood of the bodies of their victims. They were especially dangerous to travellers or lonely hunters. Mu shuvuu is believed to be usually created when a girl dies young or by violent death. The girl's soul would turn into a mu shuvuu then. When a father hides a flint in his deceased daughters hand, however, he would turn her soul into one as well))
- Death-Force Manipulation (The god of death in Siberian myth)

- Omnipresence
- Underworld Lordship (Underworld is his domain)

- Archetype:Sky Deity, Archetype:Creator Deity and Demiurge (Among the Nenets people of Siberia, the male Num was the sky god, the good creator of earth and the high god of the Nenets. Num is one of two demiurges, or supreme gods)
- Reality Warping and immunity to Totality Destruction (The Nenets believed earth and all living things were created by the god Num and every heavenly sphere is ruled by one son of the Num god. Nga was his malevolent son. According to one story, the world threatened to collapse on itself and then supported the world in hand)
- Archetype:Heaven Deity, Gold Mimicry and Silver Mimicry (Num-Torum (Numi-Torem or Numi-Turum) is the supreme god or father god of the Ugrian peoples. He is the father of the hero Mir-Susne-Hum, six other sons, including Postajankt-iki, and one daughter. His siblings are Hotel-Ekva (Sun), Etposzojka (Moon), Naj-Ekva (fire), Kuly-Otir (underworld) and his wife, Kaltes-Ekwa. According to the Khanty people, he lives on the highest level of heaven, which means that it is difficult for people to talk to him, thus the children of Num-Torum are consulted on his behalf. He and his seven sons lived in a house of gold and silver)

- Archetype:Animal Deity (Goddess of migratory birds)
- Direction Manipulation (She was associated with the south, warmth, and the northern migration of birds that accompanies the warmer months. In the autumn, birds migrating southward were considered to be returning to "Mother Tomam")
Umay - A Turkic god of fertility
- Archetype:Fertility Deity (Umay (Ana)) is the goddess of fertility in Turkic mythology and Tengriism and as such related to women, mothers and children.))
- Protection Inducement and Soul Removal alongside Life and Death Manipulation (Umay not only protects and educates babies, but also may separate the soul from the dead, especially young children. Umay resembles earth-mother goddesses found in various other world religions and the angel of life and death. Umay is a protector of women and children. The oldest evidence is seen in the Orkhon script monuments. From these it is understood that Umay was accepted as a mother and a guide. Also, khagans were thought to represent Kök Tengri. Khagan wives, katuns or hatuns, were considered Umays, too. With the help of 'Umay, katuns had babies, and these babies were the guarantee of the empire. According to Divanü Lügat’it-Türk, when women worship Umay, they have male babies. Turkic women tie strings attached with small cradles to will a baby from Umay. This belief can be seen with the Tungusic peoples in Southern Siberia and the Altay people)
- Primordial Earth Generation and Archetype:Mother Goddess (In Turkic mythology, earth was considered a "mother" symbolically. Her color was brown, like the Earth's soil, as opposed to Tengri, whose color was blue, like the sky)
- Solar Amplification (Potapov states that, as protector of babies, deceased children are taken by Umai to the heavens.
In the view of the Kyrgyz people, Umay not only protects children, but also Turkic communities around the world. At the same time Umay helps people to obtain more food and goods and gives them luck. As Umay is associated with the sun, she is called Sarı Kız 'Yellow Maiden', and yellow is her colour and symbol. She is depicted as having sixty golden tresses that look like the rays of the sun. She is thought to have once been identical with Od iyesi. Umay and Ece are also used as female given names in the Republic of Turkey)
