One of Pride's (Fullmetal Alchemist) abilities as a homunculus is to create solid shadows to grab, attack or observe from a distance.
Power/Ability to:	Create constructs out of darkness.

The ability to create objects and other constructs out of darkness. Sub-power of Dark Force Manipulation and Darkness Manipulation. Variation of Elemental Constructs and Force Constructs. Opposite to Photokinetic Constructs.

Capabilities

The user can turn darkness into different forms and objects of varying detail and permanence, ranging from simple shapes and images to individual elements, substances and materials, to functional items such as tools and weapons, to more complex creations such as living or non-living entities, entire structures and even environments in certain cases. Depending on their control over the source of their constructs, those who have mastered this ability can use it for almost any situation, creating anything they need.

Applications

The user can generally create anything they have seen or can imagine and have a good idea how it functions from their source. A short list of possibilities includes:

Limitations

• May be unable to create darkness, being limited to shaping from already existing sources.
• Light may be particularly effective against the constructs.
  • Light may destroy the constructs.
• Construct structural strength may be limited by the users will.
• In most cases constructs will return back into their original state if the User becomes unconscious, leaves the proximity or otherwise loses contact/control of the item.
• May be limited on how complicated constructs they can create (i.e. no/limited amount of moving parts).
