Capabilities[]

The user has an intelligence/mind that operates on a level that exists beyond normal eldritch minds, making them exist in a state beyond the conception of intelligence, logic, reason or thought. A comparison between the two would be like the difference between a puddle of water and the ocean. Examples of such fathomless minds can be found most commonly in beings possessing a Cosmic Otherness, as well as occasionally in extreme instances of eldritch hive minds and other such entities.

Unlike most alien minds, which still operate in a way resembling thought, intelligence and reason - albeit in a way that makes them incompatible with normal minds, such as operating on a far greater scale, being horribly distorted or simply insane - fathomless minds are utterly beyond any conception of those qualities, thereby granting them capabilities completely beyond what would be considered possible by normal minds. The nature of the user's mind means that even mere communication from them can distort, fracture or otherwise affect reality itself. In many cases, the boundary defining the limit of user's psyche begins to become irrelevant, allowing the user to warp reality with the workings of their mind alone - in some extreme cases, the boundary between what is and what is not the user's mind becomes virtually non-existent, allowing them to affect reality as though it exists solely in their imagination.

As the target's mind works on such a fathomless scale, even alien minds would have a hard time dealing with or understanding the user. This makes them completely immune to any/all forms of mental or psychic control/influence, including those that work on abominations. In instances where the user has an inner world, it would not only be completely boundless, but operate on concepts utterly alien to the rest of existence. To anyone who somehow finds their way into this inner world, it would be so beyond them as to render the intruder as insignificant to the user as a single bacterium would be to us, and such an intruder would find their existence wholly dwarfed and quickly snuffed out by the sheer magnitude and incomprehensible nature of the user's mind.
