The user becomes stronger, faster, more durable, etc. as they receives damage from their opponents, environment or by themselves. They may be empowered by physical damage, mental damage or soul damage. Lethal damage can give a (near) maximum boost on the attacks of the user of this ability.

  • User can't use this ability if they are dead.
  • User has to withstand the pain of the damage they receive, so a lot of willpower is required to use this.
  • Some damage can immobilize the user, so they become easy target.
  • Taken damage is one thing, however, unless they can recover from it, they'll wear out eventually.
