"Open the gates of the past, liberate the souls of the wrongfully damned, with my life as sustenance, I called upon the hundreds and the thousands of the souls in the soil to rise on this day. To take your victory to take your justice and to take your revenge."
― Zi Yuan (Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor)

Power to reanimate corpses and dead beings. Sub-power of Necromancy. Variation of Animation. Not to be confused with Resurrection.

Also Called

  • Dead Summoning
  • Necrokinesis
  • Reconstitution

The user can animate corpses and dead beings, making them able to move and react. They are usually under the user's control, but because the corpses are likely mindless, they have to be carefully monitored. However, some users may be able to create sentient or semi-sentient undead.

May be achieved by using:

  • Reanimation Negation
  • Reanimated targets may accidentally become zombies, undead or ghouls.
  • Reanimation may be limited to those that the user has killed.
  • Using this on long dead creatures can be tricky for beginners.
  • Users may have limits for how many corpses they may animate at once and/or how many they may have active and controlled at once.
  • May be temporary.
  • Reanimated targets may not be under the users control.
  • Reanimated targets may possess their personalities, weaknesses and/or memories.
