The ability to combine slashing attacks with absorption effects/forces. A combination of Absorption and Cutting, variation of Slash Effect.
User can combine absorption effects/forces to attacks with bladed weapons, usually sapping energy from whatever is sliced.
- If the weapon breaks the absorbed may escape.
- May be limits on storage.
Hanatarō Yamada (Bleach) using his Hisagomaru to absorb injuries, collecting it until it reaches critical mass to release it in a massive wave.
Nozomi Kujō (Bleach) using her Arazome Shigure to absorb spiritual energy and is then free to use it as she pleases.
Kūgo Ginjō (Bleach) using his Cross of Scaffold to slash Ichigo, which drained back the Fullbring from him for Ginjo's own enhancement.
Tōshū (InuYasha) wielding the Dakki, a sword crafted from a dragon-demon's scale, which allows him to drain demonic life energy, something his human body could not handle.
